Val di Fassa lies in the heart of the Eastern

Skiing in Val di
Fassa means you can ski in a different area
every day according to your inclination and
skill. Several ski tours cater for the more
advanced skier, including the Sellaronda
or Tour of the Four Passes, the evocative
“Tour of the First World War”,
the Tour of the
Three Valleys and the Skitour Panorama.
Moena (1200 mt a.s.l) - the capital of Val di Fassa
An ancient medieval mountain town located at the entrance to the Fassa Valley, between the Dolomite mountain chains of Sassolungo, Catinaccio, Latemar and Monzoni, and at the point where the S. Pellegrino River joins the Avisio. Today Moena is one of the most appreciated tourist sites in Trentino, located near practical and popular ski complexes: Tre Valli (Alpe Lusia – Passo San Pellegrino - Falcade), Obereggen/Latemar, Catinaccio, Vigo di Fassa, Pozza di Fassa, Sella Ronda. Moena is included in the vast circuit of the " Dolomiti Superski" and of the "Ski Trevalli Area". In the Fassa Valley you can move from village to village and reach a different ski-area very easily,
without taking your car.

Campitello (1400 mt a.s.l.)
A small, charming and very quiet village located at the foot of the imposing Sassolungo and next to the Col Rodella ski facilities. In winter Col Rodella offers various and interesting skiing possibilities. The area is famous for its modern ski-lifts and a very modern snow covering system which guarantees the best skiing results from December until April. Col Rodella connects Campitello with the Sella Ronda circuit. In the center of the village there are shops, restaurants and apres-ski bars. You can use the ski bus for free to visit the neighboring villages of Fassa Valley – Canazei, Pozza di Fassa, Vigo di Fassa, Moena.

Canazei (1287 mt a.s.l.) - with access to the Sella Ronda
A very famous and beautiful ski resort situated at the head of the picturesque Fassa Valley, in a strategic position by the Dolomite Passes of Pordoi, Sella and Fedaia. It has direct access to the Sella Ronda by the Belvedere cable car. SELLA RONDA is the biggest ski-carousel in Europe. The very modern ski lifts make the area of Canazei a model resort in the alpine arc. For the lovers of cross-country skiing there are 50 km of tracks. The resort offers many facilities, including a swimming pool, steam rooms, saunas and skating in nearby Alba. There are numerous shops, restaurants, pubs, apres-ski and piano bars.

Alba di Canazei - connection to Marmolada
Small charming village located close to Canazei, from the village of Alba you can reach the ski slopes of Ciampac, and via Alba and Penia get to Malga Ciapela and the glacier of Marmolada.

Sellaronda
The name means the circuit around the Sella mountain across the four passes: Passo Pordoi - Passo Campolongo - Passo Gardena - Passo Sella.
This is a series of ski-lifts and downhill runs, all linked to one another and set against a background of woods, rocky peaks and expanses of snow.
Joining the skiing circuit is easy: just follow the roads that take you to one of the four villages around the Sella mountain: Selva di Val Gardena, Corvara, Canazei, Arabba. The length of the circuit, including both, ski lifts and ski runs, is about 65 km at the altitudes from 1465 mt till 2300 mt above sea level.
Marmolada
The Queen of the Dolomites. The Marmolada, with its 3,342 m. altitude, is the highest mountain in the Dolomites. Its' northern side is covered by the largest glacier in the whole Dolomites group.
The Marmolada Glacier contains the resort villages of Arabba and Malga Ciapela that are both linked together. The ski area can be easily reached with the cableways from Malga Ciapela and Lago Fedaia. There is "La Bellunese" a slope that runs from Punta Rocca (3.270 mt.) down to Malga Ciapela for 12 km.
This slope is considered by international press reports as the most beautiful in the Alps and the Dolomiti Superski Area.
It is a difficult ski run because of very changeable weather conditions.
