Falcade - Tre Valli ski area
Falcade is a well known winter and summer tourist resort situated at 1,150 m asl on a wide green plain surrounded by conifers and meadows. Falcade boasts a variety of accommodation possibilities and a century-old vocation to hospitality that make the village an ideal holiday resort for families and children and a charming destination for climbers and summer as well as winter sports lovers.
The imposing Focobon Range is an undisputed landscape protagonist which overlooks Falcade and the impressive hamlets rich in history and tradition.
The ancient Church of Falcade Alto, committed to St. Sebastian, was built between the end of the 14th century and the mid of the 15th century. The church features a typical Gothic structure and a sharp bell tower in addition to a remarkable big meridian painted on the Southern wall. The church boasts valuable masterpieces, such as the wooden crucifix by Giovanni Marchiori (1696-1778) and the Major Altar painting ascribed to Valentino Rovisi (1715-1783).
Falcade boasts Augusto Murer (1922-1985) among its most notable citizens.
The village is the hometown of the artist whose work is now represented by the “Museo Murer”, once the real atelier of the artist, nowadays the ideal place to admire some among his most important masterpieces.
In the summer Falcade is an ideal point of departure for impressive excursions, from the easiest to the most difficult ones. The 7-day itinerary which bears the name of the great climber and explorer H.W. Tilman (1898-1977) departs at the entrance of the Valle del Focobon (Focobon valley) and develops through a network of mountain paths to reach Asiago. Thanks to nature, history, sports and tradition Falcade is a wonderful tourist spot to be discovered.
Canale D'Agordo - Tre Valli ski resort
Canale D'Agordo lies 976 m asl on a wide alluvial plain at the entrance of the Valle di Gares. The village was once an economic core for the entire Valle del Biois, thanks to the minino and smelting industry at the Gares and Sais mines.
Nowadays Canale D’Agordo is a destination for thousands of pilgrims keen on visiting the birth place of Albino Luciani, the so-called smiling Pope.
Alongside with being an ideal point of departure for excursions and walks of all degrees and the ideal place for relaxing picnics the Valle di Gares in winter turns into a charming landscape of snow and ice. The Valle di Gares cross country skiing tracks are among the most renowned in the Dolomites, and are suitable to agonistic competitions as well.

The ancient Village Church, dating back to 1361, is committed to Holy John the Baptist and boasts valuable masterpieces such as the golden wood Tabernacle on the major altar (1696) or several sculptures by the Bellunese artist Andrea Brustolon
The Birth House of painter Giuseppe Xais, who was one of the major landscape painters of the Venetian ‘700
