Freestyle skiing in Dolomites
Recognising the ever-growing number of freestylers, the Dolomiti Superski organised a range of ‘Drop In’ freestyle days, where more than 22 ski and snowboard schools in the area joined forces to organise a day-long event of freestyle festivities for 12 to 18 year olds. It kicked off last January, twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Snowparks can be found at Cortina, Kronplatz, Alta Badia, Val Gardena, Alpe di Siusi, Val di Fassa, Alta Pusteria, Val di Femme, Obereggen, S. Martino, Valle Isarco, Tre Valli and Civetta.
Halfpipes are at Cortina d’Ampezzo, Val Gardena, Alpe di Siusi, Obereggen, S. Martino di Castrozza and Tre Valli. Highlights for really keen freestylers should be the Snowpark Alta Badia where 13 kickers reside, as well as 11 boxes/rails; and the O’Neill King Laurin Park at Alpe di Siusi with its easy and pro lines, 14 kickers, halfpipe, quarter pipe, 15 rails, one wall and 21 boxes.
Dolomiti Superski and Skirama
With its unique mix of nature and technology, enjoy the extraordinary thrill of winter sports at two large skiing districts boasting almost 700 km of fabulous pistes with enchanting landscapes and ultra-modern ski-lifts. Dolomiti Superski and Skirama are two large skipass systems which allow you to ski in almost all of the districts and valleys of Trentino.
The Dolomiti Superski pass includes Val di Fassa, Val di Fiemme and San Martino di Castrozza, allowing you to ski in 12 different areas featuring a series of unforgettable landscapes from Cermis, to Catinaccio and Marmolada. You can choose a different slope every day, all of which are perfectly tamped. The snow on the pistes is guaranteed by 3 thousand snow machines. The pistes in the area also boast 450, fast, comfortable ski-lifts of the latest generation. Visitors can travel across famous itineraries such as the Sellaronda and the Trevalli.
The Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta pass includes 8 different skiing districts in Trentino: Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Folgarida-Marilleva, Peio, Tonale, Folgaria and Lavarone, Andalo-Fai della Paganella and Monte Bondone. Here, a single ski pass allows you to ski on 380 km of pistes at up to 3000 m in altitude. A programmed snow system guarantees that its pistes- equipped with 150, modern, highly efficient ski-lifts - remain snowy. Furthermore, you can ski in Tonale up to late spring. Moena capital of Val Di Fassa - Dolomites - Italy
Moena is positioned on a splendid natural alluvial hollow and surrounded by some of the most impressive Dolomite mountains.

Founded in 1924 during the first Olympic Games in Chamonix, France, the International Ski Federation (FIS) aims to promote the sport of skiing and snowboarding and directs the development of all ski and snowboarding activities world-wide. It administers the Olympic disciplines of Alpine Skiing, Cross-Country Skiing, Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined, Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding, including setting the international competition rules. Kronplatz the number one skiing mountain in South Tyrol.
The Kronplatz mountain, with its 2,275 meters high summit and its beloved bald head, is visible from every vantage point in the valley. Pure and simple, Kronplatz is one of the major skiing areas in South Tyrol.
